Morning have 3 egg whites & 2 slices of wholemeal bread

replace lunch with a protein shake and piece of fruit! or a tin of tuna or chicken breast (roughly around 30g protein) or veg i.e. salad but without dressings

dinner - small portion of brown rice with grilled chicken or fish & lots of veg / wholegrain pasta or instant noodles (no Ali not supernoodles), but the ones you get in the chinese supermarket! but keep the carbs low and look for low-GI so you get a slow realese of energy throughout the day, so you dont get tired in the evening.

Snacks - Go ahead bars, fruit, protein shake, low fat yoghurts handful of almonds (not to many as they have some fat, the good kind tho!)

the main thing is to keep your metabalism high, so eat every 2 hours, but small portions so it has to keep working, also 20 mins of cardio in the morning (before breakfast) and at night (before bed) You could also try water loading but it is a bitch and you have to be near a toilet all day!

Hope this helps bigman!

*Pete - any pointers??*

Good pints Chris, i would also say aim to have carbs early in the day. Think of carbs like petrol to a car. Take enough to get you on your journey. a complex carb would be best to keep you going throughout the day. Rest of the day small meals, possibly some sort of supplement but this is only needed if you are not taking in the correct calories via your food. But if your a man on the run add in the shakes. Dont eat late at night......car doesnt use petrol when parked in the garage. Hope this helps....HOOF

Get up, have your breakfast, we'll get to that later. Around 11, before lunch, you'll probably want a fry, something like a 'belly-buster' would be adequate. For lunch I'd stick to something simple, like a kebab on chips, maybe a Chinese. Nothing fancy, maybe a chicken curry half-and-half. For your dinner simply have whichever of those two you didn't have for lunch. We all get hungry in the evening, which is a great time to grab a pizza. Be sure to leave a few slices though, because that'll be tomorrow's breakfast!

you forgot the beer and besides you took that whole plan right out of GSPs private "Food is good but more food is better" out next month. You probably scored it from Ali when you got your steroid fix! I would say you are probably about a stone lighter now after all the crying about cutting weight, beside you know it's only water weight and as soon as you drink your nightly bottle of Vodka it will all be back on again...thats what all you Russian ex army dudes o..in it? Watch out Setanta diggers coming with the red army!

I think we should have a white board or something like that up in the gym. For name, weight, target weight etc and have a weigh in once a week. Like our very own fat fighters. Paddy you can be Marjorie Doors. (i am serious) Obviously I dont need it but for the likes of Stringer and all, it may be a help.

Paddy you ignoring me or what. What about monitoring weights in the gym of people wanting to lose weight like our friend colin here and Stringer and all. I wouldn't know about it but I imagine if I was over weight something like this would maybe help me out.

Eat every 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Do 30 minutes of cardio in the morning when you wake up before you eat. Drink 2 gallons of water per day.

Eggs & oatmeal for breakfast, protein shake with banana, grilled chicken & sweet potato with veggies, granola bar with peanut butter, lean beef or grilled fish with brown rice and some green veggies.

personally i don't think it really matters what you eat, but i would recomend drinking plenty of water, eat when your hungry, eat slowly, stop eating when your full (and not when you've run out of food), also try and eat a wide range of stuff that is more natural ie, fruit, nuts, veg, meat. you shouldn't need to take any supliments then. and i wouldn't worry about times for eating too much, if your hungry at 10 at night, have something to eat, as this will keep your metabathingymagiggy ticking over.
and remember the basic rule is if you want to loose weight, calories in must be less than calories burned!!

unless you're bodybuilding you dont need to eat 8 times a day and go through 3kg of whey a month. just be sensible. you've heard it all before. breakfast is the most important meal of the day. lots of fruit, veggies, and lean meat. oatmeal, rice and wholegrain bread for carbohydrates. stay away from fast food. take a multivitamin. it really is that simple

Man with genitals in pipe

A man who went to casualty with his penis stuck in a steel pipe had to be cut free by firefighters using a metal grinder.
Medics at Southampton General Hospital could not get the man's penis out of the stainless steel pipe because the restricted blood flow had caused it to become aroused, so they called in Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service.
They turned up with a special equipment unit from St Mary's station in Southampton and seven firefighters to help in what a spokesman said was a "delicate operation". The firefighters used the four-and-a-half-inch grinder to cut the pipe from around the man's penis and it took about 30 minutes. The patient was given an anaesthetic and his penis was left bruised and swollen but otherwise unharmed. The anxious man, aged about 40, gave hospital staff no explanation about how the pipe got stuck after he turned up on Tuesday morning. A Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Initially the crew did not have the appropriate cutting equipment to free the man. "It was a very delicate operation that required a very steady hand and the crew was worried about things getting too hot during the cutting. "It's certainly an unusual call-out and I'm sure the man won't be getting into that situation again."

Really...seriously?
