"The MMA lifestyle social network and everything else that's cool"

Hey folks....as you can see post loads of blog updates for you all to keep up-to-date, manager says i should write them even though i feel stupid and cant do intresting ones, but i'll give it a shot for the past event. For those of you who dont know I got the privilage of fighting in the Kings Hall infront of about 2,000 people (yeah!) for Cage wars decade in the biggest cage ever, 30 foot which is bigger than the UFC one (i swear i tried to sprint across the cage and got tired!).
I had been training since the begining of the year, anywhere from 2 to 3 times a day for this which is the most i ever trainned. Tom Lamont down at the Chum Sut gym had me sore and tired everything session, almost in tears and/or close to being sick nearly every training session. You have no idea how much work Tom invested in me. Chris Stringer also enjoyed this fact as he was Tom's tool and involved many hours of him getting to kick punch and trail and submit the shit out of me for most of them. Had to sell tickets too, which can be stressful at the best of times so thanks anyone who helped me out by buying them off me. The training camp went well, though i had a few outside factors that did effect the training, but then if it was all prefect i would be worried that the fight would go wrong. I had also moved into "the cellar", fritz's to be closer to training and as a result my resting and eatting was alot better. Also earned me the title "the one who is always" on facebook as a result. Just because i have 4protein shakes, a fishfinger sandwich, 4 chicken fillets with pasta or rice, a protein bar, an omelette and a tin of soup all in one day.... doesnt make me a fat bastard! Should see what im eatting at the mo which does now im off my diet!
It's great craic living here as the boy's and girl know how to keep my mind off fighting 24/7 which can drive you nuts, and someone is always doing something scandeles (JMac) and is defo aided me in the way i train.
Work where pretty understanding as well, giving me a bit of le-way since i train on a wednesday night and not making it in on time, on the odd occation/sometimes/most of the time/nearly everytime :D and letting take a break to get my nutrition right. True bill, dont let anyone else tell you different, every staff member that works behind the bar and on the floor in that place is mental. They know how to party, well from what i can remember of their staff do, but they are good craic so if it take a minute to get a drink of them, give them a break they do work hard.
As for the weight in and fight, the weight in you didnt miss much i knew that i would need to get in his face from the get go. The key word this camp was Lamborghini, he did 100mph, i did 101, he hit me once i hit him twice. I just made sure he never got started and to make sure i was never in the same place as him. You want to see why check this out!

Sunday was awesome, i never really get to enjoy being at home till after but the support from the crowd and all the people i know is awesome. I love it, and yes i do hear it when people chant Pete, and it does help. Its like it doubles my strength and a buzz like nothing else.
If i imbarrused myself, or offended you in any way at the after party in Rain, or in Box. I am soooooooo sorry, i cant remember any of it! Cheers for the support and will try and update this blog sooner rather than later!
I would like to deicate the fight to my best mates step dad who died Peter who passed away not all that long ago. (JB he would be proud of ya)

Man with genitals in pipe

A man who went to casualty with his penis stuck in a steel pipe had to be cut free by firefighters using a metal grinder.
Medics at Southampton General Hospital could not get the man's penis out of the stainless steel pipe because the restricted blood flow had caused it to become aroused, so they called in Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service.
They turned up with a special equipment unit from St Mary's station in Southampton and seven firefighters to help in what a spokesman said was a "delicate operation". The firefighters used the four-and-a-half-inch grinder to cut the pipe from around the man's penis and it took about 30 minutes. The patient was given an anaesthetic and his penis was left bruised and swollen but otherwise unharmed. The anxious man, aged about 40, gave hospital staff no explanation about how the pipe got stuck after he turned up on Tuesday morning. A Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Initially the crew did not have the appropriate cutting equipment to free the man. "It was a very delicate operation that required a very steady hand and the crew was worried about things getting too hot during the cutting. "It's certainly an unusual call-out and I'm sure the man won't be getting into that situation again."
